Coding IS the Language of Women
What I wish every technology engineer knew: Coding IS the language of women. In fact, programming WAS invented by a woman. Ada Lovelace was a visionary who predicted that computers could do more than just crunch numbers. She referred to her work as ‘poetical science’ and drew on linking the beauty of “engineering and humanity to technology” as well as “poetry to processors.” As evidenced by the work of great women such as Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper and Katherine Johnson and thousands of women who work in the technology sector or with technology, women SLAY in technology, it is only people who don’t know their computing history that think otherwise.
